Our mission

Puo's mission is to empower, educate and entertain children by connecting them to Africa's languages, cultures and history.

We do this by producing fun educational products for children between the ages of 3 and 9.

Our vision

Puo's vision is to enrich children's lives through Africa's heritage.

Our Team

I wanted to create materials for children that were developed from a postive African perspective, and Puo is the beginning of that process.  By exposing children to Africa's great civilizations, her many languages, her rich cultures and beautiful sights, I am hoping that her children - near and far - will draw from her with pride.

So with that, I invite you to purchase our products, speak to children about Africa, submit your comments in our blog, tell us how you have approached langauge and culture in your home, what you are grappling with, how you've overcome this, and of course, some proud moments of your African child.
